Tesco Bank appoints Tracy Abraham as Chief Customer Officer

Published: 22 August 2022

Tesco Bank has announced the appointment of Tracy Abraham to the role of Chief Customer Officer. The appointment, which is subject to regulatory approval, takes effect on Monday 22 August.

Tracy Abraham has spent over 25 years in senior marketing and communication roles, most recently as Group Marketing Director at The AA. Tracy has also held Chief Marketing Officer positions at Experian, CPP Group and Monzo. Prior to her career in financial services Tracy worked for a number of media organisations including Channel 4 and Channel 5.

Tracy will join Tesco Bank’s Executive Committee and will report directly to Chief Executive Gerry Mallon.

Tracy will be responsible for developing Tesco Bank’s customer offering across its banking, insurance and money services propositions. In January the bank launched Tesco Clubcard Pay+, a way for shoppers to pay, save and pick up extra Clubcard points, pretty much wherever they shop, while the acquisition of Tesco Underwriting in May 2021 enabled the bank to create an end-to-end insurance business that is uniquely positioned to help Tesco shoppers protect their cars and homes.

Welcoming the appointment, Gerry Mallon, Tesco Bank Chief Executive, said:

“I’m pleased to welcome Tracy to Tesco Bank and look forward to working with her as part of our Executive Team. Her breadth of experience and customer focus will be invaluable as we develop our strategy of delivering products which closely align to the needs of Tesco customers.”

      Notes to editors
