Everyone's welcome
Our colleagues are the heart of our business. Quite simply, Tesco Bank is nothing without them. We love the unique characteristics, experiences and background every single person brings to work. And we’re fully committed to building an inclusive workplace that reflects the brilliantly diverse communities and customers we serve.
Our ambition for Diversity and Inclusion is to build an inclusive workplace and reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.

Inclusion is everything
It’s essential to our Tesco Bank value of “making Tesco Bank a great place to work”. It’s front and centre of how we work across the business every day. It’s how we lead teams and shape the experiences colleagues have with us.
As an employer, we want to create an environment where 'Everyone’s Welcome', and we’ve made some great progress:
- In 2020 we ran an inclusion audit of the Bank with an independent assessor, speaking with hundreds of colleagues to understand where we can improve their experiences. We’ve used this feedback to create our Inclusion Agenda which has four areas of focus: Communication, Education, Talent Acquisition and Colleague Networks. In 2020 we ran an inclusion audit of the Bank with an independent assessor, speaking with hundreds of colleagues to understand where we can improve their experiences. - We have six Colleague Networks to ensure that we listen, learn and act in the interests of all of our colleagues at Tesco Bank. These networks are sponsored by senior leadership, ensuring senior support and engagement. Our Colleague Networks are: Women at Tesco Bank, Multicultural at Tesco Bank, Family and Carers at Tesco Bank, LGBTQ+ at Tesco Bank, Enabled at Tesco Bank, and Armed Forces at Tesco Bank.We have six Colleague Networks to ensure that we listen, learn and act in the interests of all of our colleagues at Tesco Bank. - We are embedding a strong wellbeing culture, where all colleagues are supported and empowered to look after their own wellbeing, make healthier choices and can discuss their health and wellbeing openly at work - we’ve a number of ‘Be Well Champions’ across our offices who provide holistic, preventative sign posting and support to be well. Our Virtual GP service gives access to free and confidential consultations with a GP, around the clock and from wherever you are, while our Employee Assistance Programme gives access to professional emotional and practical support for colleagues and the people they care about. We are embedding a strong wellbeing culture, where all colleagues are supported and empowered to look after their own wellbeing, make healthier choices and can discuss their health and wellbeing openly at work - we’ve a number of ‘Be Well Champions’ across our offices who provide holistic, preventative sign posting and support to be well.
